Are your Chesterfield sofas comfortable?
Our Chesterfields offer exceptional comfort. We use high-density reflex foam as standard, which maintains its shape well and provides a cosy space to relax.
What finance options are available?
You can buy a Chesterfield sofa using interest-free finance. Payments can be spread over 3-12 months. Simply select 'Pay with DivideBuy' at checkout.
How long do your sofas take to make and deliver?
Our Chesterfield sofas are handmade to order in our UK workshop, which means that delivery does take longer than off-the-shelf products. The build time is currently 5-6 weeks, and then our delivery partner will need 7-14 days to book in and deliver to you. This means it will take between 6 and 8 weeks from order to delivery.
What customisation options are available?
As our sofas are made to order, an infinite number of customisations are available. From sizes to fabrics and leathers, to feet and finishing details, get in touch to discuss your bespoke requirements.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Our Chesterfield sofas are guaranteed for 15 years from the date of delivery. The guarantee covers the frame, the fillings and the material. If there is a problem with your sofa and you need to make a claim under your guarantee, we will either offer you a repair or a full replacement.
How do I care for Chesterfield furniture?
We recommend dusting the sofa every month and lightly vacuuming the buttons to ensure they’re kept free from dust.
How do I buy?
You can buy our Chesterfield sofas online using our website, or you can ring (01254 457866) or email (team@portabello.com) our team to discuss your requirements further. We appreciate some people like to see the products first-hand before purchase. We have a small showroom in our workshop which you can visit. Or, you can order free fabric samples to get a feel for the different styles and colours available.

The Mrs wanted velvet, and to be fair, even with this material, it stood up to a busy household with plenty of visitors. Looks just as good today as when we first bought it. As I am due to receive the sofa this coming week, I can’t comment at this stage on its quality or the efficiency of the delivery. I can say that it was a pleasure buying from this company.

Adam sent us samples and was very helpful in helping us decide on our lovely Chesterfield. We have had many Chesterfields over the years, but the finishing has not been as good as this one! We had a little hiccup with the legs of the sofa; we received 4 (slightly damaged ones) by mistake instead of 6 (for a 4 seater). Adam from Customer Service was very kind, and he arranged a new delivery of the correct sofa legs. We recommend Portabello 100%!
